At Alluvial India, we aim to save the world one product at a time. Our primary goal is to blur the line between luxury and sustainability. We achieve this with the help of a team of rural artisans to promote sustainability, up-cycling and use au naturale methods of manufacturing. This ensures minimal harm done to the environment, while supporting atma-nirbharata in many rural communities as well.

From the Founder’s Desk
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design from NIFT Hyderabad, I went on to try out several work opportunities ranging from fashion consultancy to styling. But, I always felt the need to have something of my own. This is partly due to me being around the family business for the lion’s share of my life. During the pandemic, I saw the reiteration of what utter destitution looks like as the present socio-economic norms failed to provide any form of security whatsoever. This made me realise the need to make a change – a change in the way we interact with society, the way we work, and how we deal with the aftermath. The goal was to start a company that employed local women who were out of jobs during the lockdown, allowing them to make a financial contribution to their families while paving their way to empowerment and freedom. Thus, was incubated Alluvial India, a sustainability promoting, local women empowering workforce founded by yours truly.
